Deserts Of Mars Capsule

September 8, 2011

This week on the Space Capsule, we leave the club for a little while and venture to the cold deserts of Mars.

A planet that continues to thrill the imagination and as robots continue to explore the surface, we receive more and more photographs. The images always seem deceptive, in the sense, that the red-hued barren Martian landscapes seem like they would be hot and dry desert environments, but just a little research and logics shows that they are almost incomprehensibly cold!

Within the imagination, we explore this frigid, desolate desert on this Friday’s Space Capsule, with music from Calexico, Biosphere, Ben Frost, Six Organs of Admittance, Shlohmo and others!

The Space Capsule blasts off … Friday at 11pm CT on 91.3 KVLU and kvlu.org.
