Tonight’s Space Capsule will be our second show with guest  Beth Rankin, from Cat5 magazine, she has put together a traveling set of songs that will set the groove after some free form conversation inside the Capsule control room. It’s 420 in Outer Space w/ DJ SK8!

Tomorrow night on the show,  our friend Jason Davis aka DJ SK8 will be the guest co-pilot in the Space Capsule, he will soon be moving to Denver, so tune in for a radio send-off like no other!!

Below the surface of all the neon, spandex, acid wash and Reaganomics of the 1980s was not a cold war, but a cold wave of synthesizer and electronic-based dance and pop music that permeated underground clubs, late night MTV and college radio station transmitters… this week on the Space Capsule, we travel back to the 80s Underground with deep cuts by Depeche Mode, Front 242, Talking Heads, Section 25, Ministry, Circuit 7, Art of Noise, A Split-Second and Bill Laswell.
