13 Below 80 Capsule

April 13, 2012

Below the surface of all the neon, spandex, acid wash and Reaganomics of the 1980s was not a cold war, but a cold wave of synthesizer and electronic-based dance and pop music that permeated underground clubs, late night MTV and college radio station transmitters… this week on the Space Capsule, we travel back to the 80s Underground with deep cuts by Depeche Mode, Front 242, Talking Heads, Section 25, Ministry, Circuit 7, Art of Noise, A Split-Second and Bill Laswell.

Contemplate, Dance or Contemplate Dancing on tonight’s Space Capsule … 11pm CST on 91.3 FM and kvlu.org!

Remember, if you miss the Friday broadcast, tune in for  Sunday’s encore broadcast at 8pm CST.

You can stream the mix on Monday afternoon, as well as previous shows at: http://www.mixcloud.com/SpaceCapsule/
